Sorry, the repair kit for Ford E-Series Vans has been discontinued.
This page remains for reference.

In the photo to the right, the red arrow points to where a thief forced a screwdriver under the edge of the lock.

Then, they "Pop" the lock out to unlock the door!

It's fast, easy and quiet, making this a favorite among thieves.

Unfortunately for the vehicle owner, this makes for an expensive and time consuming repair. Further, once fixed, the thief can do the same thing again!

We offer a Ford E-Series Van door repair and security kit that has an outside plate to hide previous damage and inside components to hold the lock securely in place.

Our solution is a 3 piece kit.

The first piece is the outside plate to cover the damage and protect the edges of the lock cylinder so the thief can't pry the lock out of the door metal again.

This plate is 2.6" square, and can be provide in white, black, or primer if you wish to paint to match yourself.

If you prefer to get rid of the lock cylinder altogether, check out our PunchPlug™ product.

If your door has been badly damaged and the lock will no longer fit, you may want to cover up the whole mess. In that case, we can provide the plate as shown for the outside without a hole for the lock. Contact us.

The second and third pieces mount inside the door. (Left photo).

The larger gray plate is a reinforcement plate that presses against the door metal on the inside. The 4 screws and nuts on the corners come from the outside, forming a metal sandwich with the door metal in between the outside and inside plates.

The last piece is the security clip, the metal plate surrounding the lock body. Three set screws hold the clip against the reinforcement plate to hold the security clip and lock in place.

This arrangement is much stronger and more secure than the factory spring clip that originally held the lock in place.

See front or side door installation tutorial.

Rear Cargo Door

For your rear cargo door, get the standard Jimmi' Jammer® for the E-Series van, or replace the lock with our PunchPlug™ product.

Inside the rear cargo door, the factory snap clip that holds the lock in place is replaced by our security clip.

Our security clip is held in place with 3 set screws rather than just spring tension that holds the factory clip in place. This is much stronger and theft resistant.

Notice the right end of the gray JJ plate extends past the outside edge of the license plate frame. This blocks the thief from prying in along that edge of the frame to get at the lock pawl and rod.

If you wish to remove the lock cylinder completely from the door for maximum security, check out our PunchPlug™ for the van rear door.
